  • Could you tell me if this is a good deal for a Composite?

I have been shying away from Composite bats but several coaches in our league I have noticed are using them. So I am considering getting one just to make things even for all.

I saw a COMBAT C4 YOUTH BASEBALL BAT THROTTLE VIRUS B1 for a little less than 100.00 with a valid receipt and 12 month warranty?

Also a Combat Little League B1 Da Bomb Bat for around 160.00.

Not sure if these are older models or not....I don't know a lot about the Combats but have been trying to read.

    Any replies are appreciated

the combat "DaBomb" is the old model that was prominant in last years LL world series. My son has had two of them and absolutely loved it. He's tried all the big name ones. The Combat virus is the new one. My son only hit that a few times because it's not warm enough yet, but this seems better than the "Da Bomb"

      Thanks for the reply.

I will look at the virus...only thing is he is swinging a 28" and 17 oz. alum. bat right now.

Hope there is something that is balanced in Combat that will work.

      THanks

Combats bats are very balanced and swing much lighter than they are. The new virus is a multiwall bat, it is more money than the previous model, but much more high tech.
