  • cf3 team bat?

hi guys just need some help, my sons first jv game was thurs, got there 2nd inning he's turn a bat, i got him a demarini cf3(good deal on ebay) last fall use in about three game great pop in this bat, after his at bat all the next batters are using his bat team bats were all old omahas and such probaly last years varsity. if you read the instrcutions this is not recomended.. but they still use his other demarini (lesser model). so how do i handle this situaton if he take it out of the bag its like fair game. dont want to come across like a jerk. but i'd like my son to use the bat i got him.. w/o the whole tem using it..

    thanks

Hmmm... if you have a 14 y/o who's bat you worry about - you probably either have a bat that is too expensive for this level/team or you need to raise some money to buy his team some bats.

The bottom line is there is no way to not look like a jerk. If you don't want them using it talk to the coach, but don't expect a positive outcome... or leave it at home.

I don't think there is a graceful way to handle this either.

I got my son a combat B1 which he loves, but more importantly can handle very well. We have ben using it all winter training. Now that we have practice some of his teamates also like the bat. I went out and bought a brand new one for my son on e-bay at a nice price, so when someone wants to use his bat they can just not the new one which is his personal bat and everybody is happy.
