  • Sklz Jeter Stuff: Any of it worthwile?

Anybody have any experiences with the hit-a-way, the zip and hit pro, or the hurricane tee? Good or bad reveiws or thoughts to share? Thought I'd find out what other people thought before I purchased anything. Thanks

The hit-a-way is junk. The velcro strips used to attach it to a post come loose every few minutes. I also bought the stand at $140 dollars, but that wasn't much help other than allowing me to set it up anywhere.

The idea is that it's easy for one person, but few can hit the ball well enough so that the ball swings back around to be hit again. I think it's okay for helping a beginner where someone else can control the ball coming back to the batter. However, someone using it by himself won't get much out of it.

It's garbage. Either Jeter didn't check the equipment or he's an endorsement whore.

You wouldn't have bought that reaction ball if you could use our outfields for groundball practice.

I have no problem hitting the ball on the hitaway so it comes back again. And you have to make sure the straps are tight, if you just put them on, they will come loose every 5 minutes

But not many 8 year olds can hit the ball so it consistently comes back.
