Most parents are very supportive and positive. However, this is what it's like if a Little Leaguer were to act like some adults. This batter turns the tables...

There are days I wish more kids would do this. I've been coaching youth baseball 3 seasons a year for 8 years. The kids are great. Some of the parents are morons. The moment their kid steps up to the plate, their instructions begin. "Wait for your pitch" "Don't help the pitcher" "you should of swung at that" and on and on. Every year there's at least one that is incapable of stopping despite being told repeatedly to shut up.
Their comments on their kid's fielding is always helpful too "you should have had that". Really ? Duh.

I agree. My Dad worked a lot to support 6 kids. But the few games that he made it too he used to just sit there and watch.

A wise man, your dad. He let you be a kid.

He knew that I had (and still do have) fun playing. Used to take time out from his busy work schedule to pitch to me or have a catch, even though he was tired. I am very fortunate. I hope I can be half the dad he is.
