Hitting in your backyard

I was doing this without a net to stop the ball, I lost two of my baseballs and I want to still hit in my backyard I have a tee and a hit-a-way I love the hit-a-way I think it's great, but sometimes I want to see where I am hitting and all, so whats the best way to hit in your backyard with a tee stopping the ball but not loosing it and not buying a practice net, I will buy one soon but until then I don't have one.

If you have a clothes line, hang an old quilt or heavy blanket over the line and hit into that. It will do the trick.
