  • Knuckleball in a dome

Watching the Red Sox/Twins tonight, I was wondering, since the wind can affect a knuckleball's movement, would pitching in a dome help it or hurt it?

Didn't think so. I'll see you again tomorrow night around the top of the ninth."

It will help in "controlling" the knuckleball but hurt by decreasing some erratic movement.

While not the same as outdoors the Metrodome is not void of wind currents. If you don't think so, walk through a door that says "do not open."
