  • One handed or two handed follow

My follow threw is one handed and it seems okay.. but sometimes when im hitting off the tee it SEEMS like my top hand (i bat righty) comes off right before i make contact.. what are some drills i can do to make sure i hold on to the bat with both hands untill i finish?

A one handed follow through is ok, IF both hands are on the bat when you make contact.

One hand release is fine as long as the hands (bat) are through the hitting zone before release. Releasing at contact is bad. I teach release after hand roll.

Have you tried switching to a two-handed follow through? This seems like an easy solution to the problem...

I've teached two hands to insure hip rotation, especially for the little guys. Althought both are okay after contact and proper hip rotation
