  • My new glove

i bought a glove a couple of weeks ago and i was wondering if it was okay(effective) to use shaving cream with lanolin on it or Dr Franklin's foam conditioneri want to break my glove in without any weight being added to it

I would stick with glove oil because that is what it is made for. It doesn't cost much, either.

Be very careful using any products on a glove. If the glove sits very long w/o use after using such products, it will tend to crack the leather. Nothing beats throwing with it and keeping a ball tied up in while not in use.

Lanolin is the best thing for a new glove. On the other hand, it needs to be used - just like the East Coast guy says. Use the lanolin and then use the glove.
