    Number 3 , I don't think she'll ever get.
There are certain intangeable's that a "hitter" has and many "batters" do not. On this sight we talk all day long about the mechanics of swinging a bat, but very very seldom will you ever here somebody talk about what it takes to be a good hitter. Having the ablility (often times innate, most of the time learned) to lay off bad pitches and swing at good ones, will often times turn a mediocore swing into a good one.

On the flip side a person that doesn't have the ability to lay off bad pitches and swing at good ones, can turn one of these very nice swings you often times see on this sight into a horrible one.

    2 hits today...

3-2 count. Fastball in. HR to left.
0-1 count. Fastball low and away. Line drive about 5 ft over the 2nd basemans head all the way to the right center field wall. RBI Double.

    Focusing on;

    1) Riding the back leg so as to land softly on my front side. Helps to avoid hip sliding after front foot plant. (bonds).

    2) Staying in my legs throughout the swing, and tilted on the balls down.

    3) Getting a good pitch to hit.

Swings to be filmed on Tuesday and Weds...mailed to Sandman. He has agreed to clip and post what he would like as a favor to me. I will try to get some game footage on our Tuesday double header.

I have no reason to hide anything. We play before a crowd twice weekly. These are 3A multi-sport HS players with three weeks practice before any season .

I want what I have to say and show to help people having top hand dominance problems and barrel displacement problems. I have no other mission on these sites.

Game swings are best, but BP, front toss, soft toss and tee swings all have value.

dont hold your breathe waiting for swingbuster to post anything, hes been on these boards for years and never posted one clip,,you can bet it all you'll NEVER see a clip of his b4 and after. I thought he was a TEAM player but obviously he has other motivations..PROVE the board wrong.Listen donny I do appreciate you critiquing my kids swing,But whats the reluctance? The more you duck the less credibilty you have..EVERYBODY has posted a SWING but you and Guerry.Even

booth posts clips of himself..Proove US wrong.

Any verification your son plays on a college team, have two doubles and one really hit the fence in the air.

    It's him.

    Different uniform.

    It's March.

Looks like a "stadium" of some kind.

He hits it squarely with a pretty good swing....for him.

I think a reasonable guy could make a reasonable assumption.

Our only choice with you is.........maybe, maybe not. Nothing more to go on.

Since we are playing show and tell

    Friday Regional double header HS

Our team won 11-1 ; 11-1 short gaming them twice in 5 innings.

Three HRs into a 15 MPH wind and our 4 hole went 7-7 on the day. That is the guy with the new vertical hand set.

That is why we keep doing it

More good news for us, as my son finally got out his slump and stroked a double against the undefeated team's best pitcher and in fact was our only extra base hit of the game. Of course we are on break and it wasn't an real game, but the huge smile on his face told me it didn't matter. Our studs were out, so he got start the game on the hill for two innings as well. They beat him around for 3 runs but he had fun and didn't walk anyone.

He had fallen to the bottom of the order, batting 11th of 12, and in 7 games was hitting like .100. He'll still bat low, but slowly things are looking better. I even challenged him a bit in a 60 mph cage where the equivalent is more like 70+ because of the distance.

Still back to work on Drill No 1, as we aren't there yet.
