  • What should we work on?

    He is only 7yrs old i dont want to throw to much at him he loves playing and i dont want to burn him out. I would like your advise on what i should work on next http://v.coachseye.com/zbxJ

    Slow down the rate in which he swings... let him get set.

    At this age I would just keep it fun. He does well enough to not have to worry about anything of significance.

      Fielding?? Throwing?? Batting is a CHECK!! Very good, even at 9-10 this should get it done.

        Even if the swing is good (I think I may see some small flaws, but probably not worth messing with), there are still other aspects to being a good batter... timing, adjustability, confidence, etc.

          Keep his hands at his shoulder until his back elbow hits the back hip (his leave too soon, creating front arm bar).
