Another "shining" example of bad sports parenting

Hockey is huge in Massachusetts. There are many incredible wacked out stories. This is where one father killed another after a game several years ago. The family from the previously posted story was banned last week from the Lynn youth hockey program. Their twins are only nine and they've been banned from three programs. The family is suing for reinstatment. It takes a waiver to get in a program outside your area until a certain age. Many of the area programs have said they will not provide the family a waiver. Imagine being nine years old and your parents have made it so you can't play anywhere.

unfortunately, i'd imagine those 9yr olds have a pretty nasty disposition based on their upbringing also.

I can tell you one of them has a sense of entitlement. He wanted a game stopped and be awarded the puck on what his parents thought was his 200th career goal. The coach refused. He said no league keeps track of goals so how can anyone know it's the 200th goal. He added even if they knew, it's against what they're teaching about team play. He said, "Does someone have 200 career assists? What about him?"

I have a female ex-player that plays college hockey. She can skate the hell out of most around her.

That was the end result? Good. Those parents sounded like absolute nightmares.
It's funny how the mom claimed her son was being abused by the coaching staff and yet she was begging them to take her son back with a promise of her never being in the rink.
I feel bad for the kids, but those parents are getting what's coming to them. They're obviously lunatics.
