I just saw a Real Sports piece on Steve Delabar. A pitcher who never made it out of 'A' ball before needing a plate and 9 screws to put his elbow back together. The story mentioned that he was studying a new training regiment created by Tom House. Long story short is he made it to the Bigs as a 28 yo rookie.
