  • Best inexpensive swing video editing software

I know this topic has come up in the past, but I'm interested in getting a software program to edit video of players' swings so I can do a side by side comparison of two different batters at the same points in the swing. Next fall I have a 10U team made up of players from our LL, and I'm offering to work with any of the boys during the last month of summer break twice a week at the batting cage. It's really hard to have a lot of impact in developing proper swing mechanics once the season starts with our limited practice time, so I thought this would be a good way to work one-on-one with the boys before we even start up in the fall. Any suggestions on good software that doesn't cost a lot. I'm volunteering my time. The families would just have to buy a $65 monthly membership to the cage.

    Thanks.

Can't get any better than FREE!! Kinovea - Video Analysis Software does a pretty nice job, and is pretty easy to use.....especially for the price.
