For those that actually care about the original point of this thread, I ordered the 30/20 Rawlings 5150 Exogrid. I got it for 50 bucks plus 7 shipping, not too bad for what was a $200 bat. Justbats.com was selling the same one for $100.

It's the 2012 and in the description it says:
Product Features
2 1/4" barrel Exogrid youth baseball bat
Larger sweet spot and better feel with Exogrid with Ph.D technology
Superior durability with 5150 alloy
BPF 1.15 approved for Little League and all other associations
Ultra responsive 5150 alloy barrel
I've read in several places it's LL legal. Of course in the 9-10yo league (Minor) I don't believe they follow the rules or care. I've never seen anyone check a bat.

LOL, thanks Heineken. I doubt we'll see any women in the pros anytime soon, but that's a topic that I don't want to be rehashed in here. I will say that one of the biggest ways it's gonna happen is as a knuckleball pitcher. My girl can already throw a pretty convincing one with zero backspin, just gotta learn how to kill the screw spin she puts on it. Still has a nice drop to it though!

--Please get back on topic. Girls playing youth baseball is a reality and has been for many years. When someones asks for advise on an issue for their girl they should be able to get the same respectfull help they would if they were asking for advise for their boy - not an editorial on whether their girls should be playing at all.
