Has anyone heard of Chas Pippitt or have any thoughts about his teachings and web site?

I've heard of him and subscribe to his videos. His stuff is okay, but I'd say most of it appears to be a rehash of Jack Mankin's material. He uses some interesting devices to train hitters. I don't love what he says on the lower body.

What about the "Swing Mechanic" Jamie Cevallos......any thoughts on his book and bat that he designed?

Haven't bought the book, and have no desire to. His system appears to be built on a series of positions. I would say teaching a position is a waste of time. If you teach the action leading to that position, then you'll have done what you need to. Again, I don't own the book, so if Tewks can chime in, that'd be great.
