Meaningless fact: I went to high school with the dude who more or less created Deadspin.

That Daytona Beach was hilarious. Several media outlets interviewed the kid. He's a star. I've taken the kids to 3-4 of their games. It's always a good time and very inexpensive.

While I have your attention, Bolts, I'd like some guidance on this travel ball stuff. For example, should I pay $220 to play AAU tournaments in Seminole and Orange counties or $345 to play USSSA tournaments in Daytona Beach? What do I get for that extra $125?
