Catchers Equipment 8yo

Can somebody give me some advice on some catchers gear for an 8yo? Most of the youth stuff I see is too big! Thanks!

I bought this. It's been good equipment, and much better price than getting a name like mizuno or easton.

At that age my son used Easton Black Magic. Runs small and fairly reasonable in price. This year we upgraded to the Mizuno Samauri...a little more expensive but MUCH better protection. He was 11 when we got it but small for his age...not sure if it would work for an 8 year old.

This is what our League provided for us. Looks about the same as the one from pennant, just more $
