  • Civil War Baseball

    Hi all,
I am also a member at a Civil War site... An interesting thread just came up about Civil War Baseball... thought some might be interested.

This isn't Civil War, but it's the era. Vintage baseball championship this Sunday in Elkton MD. They play by the rules of 1864. In case anyone is interested in going. Looks like fun. Expired Image Removed

Cool Jake. Forward it to the History guys. I'm sure they would find it of interest.
The outcome of our children is infinitely more important than the outcome of any game they will ever play

For those interested, the book "Play for a Kingdom" by Thomas Dyja is about this...a great book/story, though it's a novel, it is very carefully researched.
