Barry Bonds
There has been a quite a few good books about Barry Bonds and the whole steroid situation recently. Adds a lot of insight into the who and why or Barry.
Love Me, Hate Me: Barry Bonds and the Making of an Antihero (Jeff Pearlman)
Game of Shadows: Barry Bonds, BALCO, and the Steroids Scandal that Rocked Professional Sports (Mark Fainaru-Wada and Lance Williams)
This Gracious Season: Barry Bonds & The Greatest Year in Baseball (Josh Suchon and Bob Nightengale)
Almost makes you feel sorry for him.

Heartbreakers
I enjoyed the images posted by 9RoyHobbsRF and thought I would try a few from my library. If folks are interested in these please say so; I have many older and interesting books I can scan and post. Some are quite old and some are just interesting.
Heartbreakers - John Kuenster - 2001. You gotta love the picture of Branca after the Thomson home run.Attached FilesHack Wilson - He was built like a beer keg and was not unfamiliar with its contents.

You Can't Steal First Base
You Can't Steal First Base - Jimmie Dykes & Charles Dexter - 1967.
Not exactly true from a historical perspective. It seems to me Babe Herman once stole 1st base when he was on 2nd. Something about distracting the catcher and allowing the man on 3rd to score. I think it's illegal now.Attached FilesHack Wilson - He was built like a beer keg and was not unfamiliar with its contents.
