I'll stick with Ernie Harwell. He did it into his 80's.
Cleveland had a good announcer Jimmy (something or other) for years.

In St. Louis, we had Harry Caray or Jack Buck behind the mic from 1945-2001 [together from 54-69] pretty hard to top that.

I grew with Harry Caray, so I just love him. Today I like Costas or Al Michaels.

Ernie is my favorite radio guy. I grew listening to him in Michigan.

And a man from Grand Rapids takes that souvenir home

Ernie Harwell was my favorite. I was always amazed how he knew where the people that caught foul balls were from.

Ditto. Long overdue for him to be recognized with the Frick Award.

Didn't get a chance to listen to Harwell much, but always enjoyed him when I did.

I like Uecker as well. Occasionally tune into the Brewers game on MLB Radio just to hear him.

Miller & Morgan are pretty good together.

Wish all sports would go back to just one voice for play-by-play and occasionally a second voice for color commentary or 'from the field/dugout' reports.
