He was an icon in the New England area much like Ernie Harwell is in the midwest.
While he wasn't my cup of tea, Curt was knowledgeable and had a sense of humor that I enjoyed. Glad to see he made the Sport's Announcers wing of the Baseball Hall of Fame while he was alive.
