I got this book this past Christmas, I haven't had time to sit down and enjoy it until tonight.
This book is a history book of major league baseball but its a lot more to it than just writing and pictures. It has exact replicas of important lineup cards, documents, ticket stubs, photographs, check from when Babe Ruth was sold to NYY, Ty Cobb Daily Planner, partial script from Field of Dreams, baseball cards, stadium plans, and the list goes on. Its really cool to be able to hold and look at these items as if they are the real thing. None of us will able to get our hands on things like the check for Babe Ruth or other items so these replicas will get us as close to the real things as possible!
If you are a memorabilia collector and love baseball you have to get this book. I know the items are replicas, but they really give a great look in baseball's history. If you guys would like for me to post some scans of the highlights I can try to do so.
