Looking for any quality sources on baseball in the 1920s and 1930s.

Baseball - A Film by Ken Burns. 10 DVD collection. Disc 4: 1920-1930.

Kind of expensive, so check out your local library.

Not sure what you mean by 1920s-30s baseball - topic range is too wide.

Charles Alexander wrote a book about depression-era baseball.

          Mediocre.

There are legit complaints about the editing and, frankly, it isn't really telling a new story or trying to reach beyond the limits of what everyone already knows. Major flaws aside, though, it offers a pretty good glimpse of the Gas House Gang personalities and is a competent measure of Rickey and Dean.

Not great. Not awful. Somehow, though, I think it could have been so much better than it was.
