  • Best Lou Gehrig book?

I'm interested in purchasing a book about Lou Gehrig but I'm having a hard time narrowing down the many choices. Do you guys have any recomendations? Your opinions will be greatly appreciated.

Luckiest Man by Jonathan Eig is by far the best Lou Gehrig biography out there; if you really want to understand the man and the ballplayer don't look any further.

Agreed! A fabulous read, one of my all time favorite baseball books, and the best on Gehrig (IMHO).

The best baseball book about L. Gehrig

I concur with the top three. One really didn't want to put it down, it was that good. A close second was the book by Ray Robinson written several years ago.
