  • How to get reproductions of MLB broadcasts?

Does anyone know? I know they tell you how during each MLB broadcast...."for a reproduction of this or other broadcasts, contact..." but since it is the winter and I haven't seen a game in a while, I have no idea who to contact.

I'll have a large variety of games that I'll be looking for.....starting in the 70's and continuing until 1999 or so. Suggestions? I contacted the Hall of Fame and they say they don't know.

Well, when they read the warning , they always say "no rebroadcast, redistribution of accounts and descriptions, no dissemination, etc etc without the express written consent of" the team which owns the rights to the broadcast. Maybe you could try contacting the teams in question? It would probably be a bit cumbersome if you have dozens of games you want, and so dozens of teams to contact. It might be a good place to start, though.

          Thanks to all who replied!

tmorss9, they didn't seem to have what I was looking for, but thanks for the link anyway. Lots of good stuff there.

VTSoxFan, you are correct about the warning. I will wait for the season to start so I can get contact information for the teams.

Mattingly, there are a few games there that look worth getting, thanks.

Good luck. Let us know what you come up with. Personally, I'd love to have some old broadcasts of 80's Braves games from TBS.

I know this is an old thread, left to die a lonely death. But still, here's a link some of you may be interested in...

This is a complete list of DVDs we have collected. Includes Baseball games, other sports, Television shows, Movies, Concerts and more.

Great old stuff there. Mostly Cubs games, but some other stuff too.
Your luck has expired. Please purchase new luck.

You can get in trouble for only having the "implied oral consent",

Mr. Ewing might be able to answer your question. This is a link to his website.

I have nice, modest collection of games for trade, if anyone is interested. Just click on my list below. And unlike Doak Ewing, I promise not to lecture you on the evils of copyright violation.
