  • MLB TV Premium Questions

Am thinking of purchasing the MLB TV Premium for my Roku streaming box/laptop/phone/whatever. Has anyone here tried it yet? I am curious about picture quality - I have real good wifi (10+MB d/l), so it SHOULD decent and stream smooth, right?

Also, I have been reading the fine print, and they CLAIM that the blackouts are based on your CURRENT location, and not your 'home' location - so for example, if I am traveling, and have my laptop with me in say, Las Vegas, and the Yankees are home playing the Mets, I will be able to watch it live there...correct?

Thanks for all responses in advance!

If that works like that, $125 a year is a decent price...

^ That's right, blackouts are based on where you are at that time.

Is there any other content beside games?

I have been considering dropping my satellite provider in favor of streaming however I don't want to lose MLB Network and its programming.

Does MLB.TV also include shows like Hot Stove, Clubhouse Confidential and Intentional Talk?

No. All they have is games.

But you can get Intentional Talk as a podcast from iTunes, AFAIK.
