  • Baseball punk rock

There's a punk rock band named Isotopes with some baseball-themed songs. The music is not my cup of tea but here's one of their songs dedicated to former Mets shortstop Rey Ordonez.

Oh man, I'm seeing them this summer. Excited now!

Also, there's a hardcore band called Slugging Percentage, but I've been unable to track down any of their songs.

Did Scott Spezio's band sing any baseball songs?

A band can have the best music in the world but if the lead singer isn't that great, it really brings the band's quality down. Such is the case with this band.

Didn't hurt the Stones too much.

The Stones had a unique sound. This guy just sounds like your typical garage punk rock band singer who can't sing well.

The Ramones, for example, are a punk rock band that successfully incorporated baseball into their work, and they were good.

Aren't the members of Rush huge baseball fans? I seem to remember them taking BP with the Angels a number of years ago. I know I've seen Geddy Lee in an Angels getup...
