  • Hank Aaron biopic

With a Jackie Robinson movie already in the works, Hank Aaron looks to be the next star in line for a biopic. Barry Levinson, director of The Natural, Diner, Good Morning Vietnam, & Rain Man, will direct a script written by Adam Mazar. It will be based on Howard Bryant's The Last Hero: The Life Story of Henry Aaron.

No word on any casting yet.
Lets Go Yankees, Valley Cats, Dutchmen, UT Spartans and ECU Pirates.

The book was wonderful, especially the first half of the book where Bryant provides a wealth of information about Aaron's childhood, how his father handled discrimination against himself and his family. There is a great deal of detail through homer #715, and the details would fit well into a movie.

We can only hope that Hollywood will do justice to Aaron and his story as told by Bryant.

A fanatic is someone who can't change his mind and won't change the subject. -- Winston Churchill. (Please take note that I've recently become aware of how this quote applies to a certain US president. This is a coincidence, and the quote was first added to this signature too far back to remember when).
