Hi everyone,
I've started a baseball-related blog, and though some folks around here might be interested. Right now there's not a lot there—there are maybe ten posts of any real substance—but I have some plans for it. I'm an academic and I hope to start doing some research into the more cultural aspects of baseball as a fun little side project; I'm also trying to develop my skills as a non-academic writer of literary non-fiction, and I'll be blogging that, as well. For now, most of my posts are about the Red Sox season so far but I also have a few other posts of note.
Anyway, I hope you don't mind me throwing up a link; if this is against the rules, please feel free to delete the post.
