It's not groundbreaking, and it's nothing like the stars game shows had as guests in the '50s and '60s, but this morning, I saw recently-retired brief minor leaguer (San Diego and Montreal) Peter Stare on Match Game '75.

I just spotted Taylor Holiday, an outfielder/firstbaseman with the Yankees farm system in 2007 and 2008, on Family Feud with John O'Herlihy.
Holiday, drafted by the New York Yankees in the 19th round of the 2007 MLB June Amateur Draft from University of California, Irvine (Irvine, CA), played for Staten Island in the New York-Pennsylvania League (A-) in 2007, and for Charleston in the South Atlantic League (A) in 2008. In 2007, during 66 games, he hit a respectable .290 in 262 ABs (.736 OPS in 298 PAs), with 76 hits (12 2B, 1 3B, 3 HR). He didn't fare as well in 2008, hitting a mere .215 in 172 ABs (.588 OPS in 200 PAs), with 37 hits (8 2B, 2 HR). That was his second and final year in professional baseball.
In 2007, the Staten Island Yankees finished 47-28, second in the four-team McNamara Division, 2½ games behind the Brooklyn Cyclones (Mets affiliate). In 2008, the Charleston RiverDogs finished 80-59, third in the Southern Division, 8½ games behind the Augusta Greenjackets (Giants affiliate).
The episode was from 2008, for Holiday said during his brief introduction with Red Sox-fan O'Herlihy that he was currently with Charleston.
