  • New movie called, 'Home Run Showdown'

I saw this movie in Detroit MI last night and thought it was pretty good.
It is a low budget flick with some decent star power.
    Here's the official trailer.

I'm guessing Netflix will pick this up soon. Looks like they had Timothey lupus playing rightfield.
"(Shoeless Joe Jackson's fall from grace is one of the real tragedies of baseball. I always thought he was more sinned against than sinning." -- Connie Mack

"I have the ultimate respect for Whitesox fans. They were as miserable as the Cubs and Redsox fans ever were but always had the good decency to keep it to themselves. And when they finally won the World Series, they celebrated without annoying every other fan in the country."--Jim Caple, ESPN (Jan. 12, 2011)

Now it looks like Home Run Showdown will be hitting the theaters in California. I'm not surprised, it was a pretty good baseball movie. I love it when these low buck flicks do well.
