Best Pull
This week I had probably the best pull in my 20 year of collecting. I will know when the next beckett comes out anyway. In a $9.99 box of cards that they sell at Wal-Mart, this box had 5 $2.99 packs of cards. I actually pulled atleast 6 good cards, but the best one was a 2005 Throwback Threads Game Used Bat Babe Ruth #ed 1/25. The photo on the card was in the Yankees uniform also which made me love it that much more being a yankee fan.

congrats on the pulls. i buy very little wax, but one time i pull a jason kendall game-worn pants card. the only problem--the cloth wasn't there!!!

Couple weeks ago I found a Bret Saberhagen autograph in a pack of Upper Deck Classics
"Too many pitchers, that's all, there are just too many pitchers Ten or twelve on a team. Don't see how any of them get enough work. Four starting pitchers and one relief man ought to be enough. Pitch 'em every three days and you'd find they'd get control and good, strong arms."

I would say my three best pulls were
1. Ichiro Suziki 2002 Topps 206 Insert Bazooka Back.
2. Tris Speaker 2002 Topps 206 Relic Game Used Bat
3. 2001 SP Game Bat Edition Piece of the Game Autograph

Tonight, I pulled from a $1.99 05 Topps pack, an Ichiro All-Star Stitches ASR-15, solid blue patch, not numberedMythical SF Chronicle scouting report: "That Jeff runs like a deer. I keep on buying packs and am yet to pull anything truly spectacular. That Ruth pull is amazing. I wouldn't mind the Hafey auto or Mathewson GU jersey either!!!Comment
