  • Autographed _The Scouting Report: 1983_

I'm a university professor who has been on a break for the past month. With so much time on my hands I decided to dig out a book I had autographed 24 years ago, photograph some pages of it, and tell some stories about it. I just finished the website today and you can view it here:

I'm not selling the book. I just put pictures of part of it on the internet with the hope that you all can enjoy it too.

That is truly amazing. I thought about doing that for the Baseball America Minor League Prospects book. To do that with major leaguers today, it would be much too difficult.
"The one constant through all the years has been baseball. America has rolled by like an army of steamrollers. It's been erased like a blackboard, rebuilt, and erased again. But baseball has marked the time. This field, this game, is a part of our past. It reminds us of all that once was good, and what could be again."
