Exhibits D and E: Choo Choo Coleman and Lou Klimchock, 1966 Topps. Lou has some extra text as well, but for Choo Choo, above the stats there is simply the terse line:

"Coleman sold to Jacksonville May 1966"

"Sometimes you'd see that kind of thing actually make it onto cards if the deal was early enough in the season."

Exhibits A, B, and C: 1958 Topps Don Mueller (notation on back of all cards that he was sent to the White Sox), 1966 Topps Bob Uecker (notation on the back of SOME cards he'd been traded, I forget to who), 1962 Topps Don Zimmer (shown wearing a Mets uniform, not airbrushed, but team says Cincinnati Reds).

Thanks, Dalko...I've actually gotten some very useful bits and pieces of info from the old cards as I do research. They're helpful for fact-checking. This confirmed my hunch that Jeoff was converted to being a position player because of wildness.

One notable thing about Jeoff in 1964 was that he was sold to the White Sox in July to make way for Mike Shannon. Sometimes you'd see that kind of thing actually make it onto cards if the deal was early enough in the season.

There are other interesting things about him, but I will reserve those for the bio that I hope to have up soon on the SABR BioProject.

I tried attaching pics of this card in a PM, but it wouldn't work. Neither Topps nor I made a typo in the spelling of Jeoff's first name, btw. Even though I'm just posting this for one person, it's still a '64 Topps card with a high number on the back (even if it is in somewhat subpar shape). Hope you all enjoy.
