  • TTM Trackers

I figure that everyone is using some sort of tool to track their TTM requests - let's share them.

Mine is located here and has served me pretty well over the past 2 years...

Maddhatter, my spreadsheet looks very similar to yours, except that I split mine up by year sent. I like the fact that you have running totals at the top, that's something I will consider adding to mine.
Visit my card site at Mike D's Baseball Card Page.

That's extensive, but doesn't really track the returns (days, etc.).

I have a very similar spreadsheet to track my requests; I have columns for the player sent to, date sent, date received, item sent, location sent to, and, if i send an index card or some other item that does not have the player's name on it, i put a small number in the corner of the card, and I record it on the spreadsheet. I also change the font color to blue for successes and red for failures/RTS. It makes it much easier to look up my successes that way.
"Too many pitchers, that's all, there are just too many pitchers Ten or twelve on a team. Don't see how any of them get enough work. Four starting pitchers and one relief man ought to be enough. Pitch 'em every three days and you'd find they'd get control and good, strong arms."

MadHatter: I noticed quite a few names on your list showed 1 card sent and 3 sigs back (Danny Ainge and Lee Stange for example). Are these people sending you extra stuff back?

Yup - typically I always send 3 items. Sometimes 1 card with 2 protective IC's. If the IC's come back signed I add them to the Sig column.

I use a Microsoft Office Excel spreadsheet to track all my TTM transactions. First page is who I sent to, c/o location, day sent, day received, and other notes. Second page is my calculations on how many I've sent, costs, expences, and percentage rates of returns. My third page is a list of TTM projects that I hope to soon get to like mailing to Hall of Famers, retired players, and hard to reach players. Lastly, my forth page is all recent changes of addresses and deaths.
