To me it looks "one of a kind" handpainted with one of those paintpens. I think thats why he posted pictures of it, to show it off. Its paint and thats rare for a store bought hat.

Try writing Mr. Met and ask him about it.

If you live near Shea you might be able to find it around the stadium. I know back when I lived there there were always vendors outside the stadium with carts selling those rip-off hats - some were unique. This might be one of those.
