If this keeps up he won't be signing TTM for long; he's wear out his arm.

I'm sorry, but if I was a player, I would only sign the big ones that look like people have put a lot of money in to... stinks for us who just send cards...

1.) The reason why he gets so much is because he only signs during Spring Training, and does NOT sign during the regular season.

2.) I would personalize EVERYTHING from baseball cards to baseballs. If the folks who got their stuff don't like it... tough...

He gets alot for a few reasons...

              1) He is popular and a great career potential.
              2) He is a Yankee
              3) Signs only during ST
              4) Sites like ours, how news spreads...

              Let's put things into perspective...
I found two 1960 Topps cards of a player I hadn't even heard of before. I had an address so I sent out. It came back about a month later, unsigned, but with a hand written letter. The letter said..."I have to inform you that I am not the So-in so you are looking for. I am a white 45 yrs old that only played high school baseball. I would like you to know that "I" get over 60 requests every week!!!!!!

60 x52 = 3120 requests for a player that I don't even know...Imagine how many requests a player like Bobby Doerr, George Kell and Hughes get during the year. Staggering.....!!!

With that, we are lucky to get our items back. Its one explaination that our requests come back many, many weeks, even years later.

                "I wouldnt sign any.

Was this comment really necessary? I mean, I know you go out of your way to insult modern baseball cards (by which you mean anything made post-1941) and all of that, but since cards are fair game, that's fine. But damning the entire hobby of TTM'ing? How about just keeping to yourself and not giving your opinion? Because on something like this, no, your opinion (if negative, which it most certainly is) is NOT welcome.

I would probably return it all to sender. I would hate signing in person, and douby if I'd want to sign anything from the mail.

And your comment contributed...what, exactly, to this conversation? Yeah, we get it, you don't like TTM or, from the sound of it, autographs in general. You're in a small minority on this site; don't ruin it for others.
