Should you happen to open a pack and find a Japanese fellow whom Topps calls "Kazuo 'The Uzi' Uzuki" (never mind that "Uzuki" is just a nonsensical name...it's not even a word in Japanese) and claims hits 104 mph with his fastball on average, this is their latest joke. Unlike Poley Walnuts the Squirrel or Rudy with the Red Sox, I actually kinda like this one. We now finally have a guy we can call "The Japanese Sidd Finch." The card is actually part of the "create your own card" promotion and does have some merit unlike some of its prankish predecessors. If Topps wishes to keep playing jokes on the hobbyist, I would say this has been their high point and they should make their annual prank something along the lines of this.

Eh, I thought it was funny (especially compared to some of the garbage Topps gave us). Then again, I'm a big fan of the Sidd Finch article and thought it was sort of a tribute to Finch."They put me in the Hall of Fame? They must really be scraping the bottom of the barrel!"

I actually never bust Topps packs, but always buy the complete set. UD on the other hand, I like opening up."They put me in the Hall of Fame? They must really be scraping the bottom of the barrel!"
