I was looking on the National's website on MLB.com and came across this tidbit on their A-Z Guide:
FAN MAIL
Letters should be addressed to specific players or coaches. Letters will be forwarded to individual recipients. Fans should be aware that players receive a large amount of fan mail weekly and it may take a few weeks to a few months for a response. The Nationals cannot guarantee that a player or coach will respond to fan mail. Fan mail should be sent to the following address:
[Coach or Player Name]
Washington Nationals Baseball Club
1500 South Capitol Street, SE
Washington, DC 20003-1507
Guests should refrain from sending items for autographs. The Nationals are not responsible for returning mailed items and do not accept items to be autographed for personal or charitable reasons.
Should I send to Nationals players anyways or is this a scare tactic? Also, is the above address the new address for the new stadium or should I use the one listed in Meiselman '08 (2400 E. Capitol St NE)?
