A while back, I purchased a reprint of the 1919 Chicago White Sox World Series program on Ebay. The seller claimed it was used as a prop in the film "Eight Men Out," but I didn't care about that - I just wanted to see what the program looked like, and I was hoping the reprint would be faithful to the original.
I've scanned all of the pages and uploaded them on Flickr, and you can see them here.
It's a longshot, but does anyone here have an original copy, or access to one, that they can compare with this one?
I know there are at least two differences - on the cover, mine has a "WS" logo with crossed bats in the space where the picture of Charles Comiskey appears, and on page 7 there's an ad for "White Sox Bottling Company" which I suspect is not real. Also, I wonder if some of the ads or pages were switched around.
I'd appreciate any kind of help you can give me. Thanks!
