I was wondering if anyone else collects baseball gloves; modern or vintage? I collect vintage split finger gloves from the 1940's and earlier. I currently own more than 50 gloves. I was at one time a card collector, but switched to gloves once I held my first vintage glove. It was a black 1" web from the 20's. I thought it was so cool. There is just something about being able to slide these things on your hand and experiencing how players used to play. It gives me more connection to the game than card collecting ever did.
