  • IP vs TTM

I've noticed that there seem to be some players/coaches who will sign IP but when you send them stuff TTM they never seem to respond. I've seen a few ST IP successes noted here and yet when I send (for example when the season started c/o their clubs) I've yet to get returns. With the postage having gone up since then, I wonder if I will ever get returns at all on those sent out way before the rate increase.

Has anybody else read about IP successes and then sent TTM only to get nothing?

What I have learned over the years is that most who sign IP will not sign ttm. They simply do not want to be bothered with mail. Whether it is to their job or to their home address.

Look at all of the big stars that sign IP and not ttm. For example: Jeter, A-Rod, Beltran, Johan, etc, etc.

I'm baffled by the "rate increase" part of your post. Postage rates already are up to 42 cents. Unless you are referring to next years postage increase (that's why I use the Forever stamp on all of my sase's).

I haven't, but that's interesting. Some players are like that. I thought I read somewhere that George Brett signed for 3 hours IP recently, but I don't think he signs TTM.

I hope that some players that don't sign TTM now will change their signing habits as they get older and wiser.

Let me clarify..I meant the increase of a few weeks ago. I sent out my most recent stuff before it went up to 42 cents.

Thing is, I'm not asking stars..just coaches.
