  • Buying Hobby Boxes

I have been looking online for different sites to buy either blaster boxes or hobby boxes. Maybe even cases if the prices are pretty good. Anyone know of any good sites? Where do you buy your cards online? I have only found one site that I really like but they don't have the best selection. The card store near me has prices that aren't as good as online, even after paying shipping prices.

www.wowzzer.com is the site I have found.

    Any help is appreciated.

By the way, I have been searching for 2007 Turkey Red, 2008 Heritage, and 2008 Co-Signers. Maybe some 2008 Spectrum.

Believe it or not, eBay is actually pretty good. Just make sure you get someone with a lot of good feedback as a seller (truth be told, their buying feedback doesn't really matter), as in 99.1%+ for boxes (and search the negatives or neutrals for comments about resealing). If the guy has 1,000+ feedback and no negatives at all, just get it.

Seconded. Unless you have access to a regular dealer who will sell at factory price, Ebay will save you at least a couple bucks, maybe more on older boxes.

Hobby Boxes are the way to go, but blaster boxes aren't bad depending on what your buying. I got a 2008 Bowman blaster from Target and four of my packs were very very similar to each other. Thats a little dissapointing because you get the same card over instead of something new. I bought a Topps Heritage hobby box and only got a few dupes.

Ebay seems pretty good with their prices. Save about 10% from what I have seen. Sometimes more. The only problem is some people sell hobby boxes, that come with the extras and guarantees, and others sell retail boxes. I guess you just have to read the description to make sure you're getting what you want.

Another thing I have seen on ebay is buying in bulk saves you a lot. I just don't have the money that allows me to buy 12 hobby boxes, even if I do save a few hundred.
