Strange object for sale

I ran across this ad in a local paper.

For sale: one and a half pound bag of Kirby Puckett pancake mix (1999)
75 dollars.


Has anyone else ever heard of such a strange thing?

Does it strike anyone else strange that a chubby black man would allow his name to sell pancake mix?

I'm just curious. It sure seems strange or at the least, quite unique to me.
