Yeah, I was at that game and Luke Appling, who was in his 70's hit a homer to left. Also, I have the program and some autographs from that game. Ran into Joe Theismann from Redskins/ESPN too, but I digress. Contact me if you want to compare names on the autographed ball to the program.

Here's what I was able to find:
July 19th, 1982 - In the first Old-timer's All-Star Classic, played at Washington's RFK Stadium before 29,000 fans, the AL won, 7-2. Luke Appling, 75, led off for the AL and hit a home run over the shortened left-field fence off Warren Spahn.
Still searching for a line-up. I'll let you know if I find anything.

I believe THAT game was sponsored by "CRACKER JACKS".
I do remember seeing it, but do NOT remember ALL the participants.

1982 Oldtimers All Star Classic
We just bought a ball with a ton of autos on it (Brooks Robinson, Harmon Killebrew, Catfish Hunter, Luke Appling......) and think it is from the 1982 Old-timer's All Star Classic that was held today (July 19). Does anyone have a list of who played? We want to see if the names match up.
