It is a good idea to get the autograph authenticated too. I have a Pete Rose autographed ball that I will be getting authenticated before I do anything else with it.

Also, I would recommend you get any balls signed using official AL, NL, or Major League baseballs, and to avoid getting balls signed with Sharpie.

I have a card signed in person by Pujols. It is not graded but is in very good shape. If you are interested I can show you a picture of it.
