  • Best way of getting rid of some old baseball card sets?

    Hello,

I have a few baseball card sets that I'd love to get rid of. My question is, what would be the best way to do this?

Thanks and any info would be appreciated!

It all depends. If you are trying to sell the sets, you can always post the sets on ebay or Craig's List or check with a local card shop. If you are looking to donate the cards, there are guys like the one over at www.commons4kids.org who is collecting unwanted cards and using them to donate to various children's charities. I have personally sent some cards to Jerry and he is very appreciative of the donation.

      What dmbfan said!

If you're considering selling the sets, try to figure out what you have and then check eBay to see what they're selling for. If the card are from the late 80 to early 90's, theres a good chance they're not worth much, as cards were very overproduced during that era.
Visit my card site at Mike D's Baseball Card Page.
