My Dad found my old Aluminum Bat that I used in Little League back in the late 70's. It's the gold colored black rubber gripped bats made by Reynolds Aluminum. About the only thing I can find about them online was the Consumer Products Safety recall on them due to the rubber on the drip splitting. Mine did that and still have the black electrical tape on it that I wrapped it back up with so I could keep using it. I was basically able to find some minor info on it through Wikipedia and such as far as the history of Aluminum bats goes but that's about it. It says Hitters Pride on the end of the grip. Here's the CPSC recall notice for posterity. I took it out to my sons practice right after I got it and could still hit it out of the park after 35 years. Not bad for a 41 year old using a 2lb bat.
