  • Blue 2003 autographed bat question

Hey All, Im new to collecting. I have a 2003 Blue Jays Team Autographed bat with MLB hologram authentication. Of not on the bat are Carlos Delgado, Roy Halladay, Vernon Wells, Alex Rios. I was looking to sell it as I wanted to use the funds to start a vintage memoribilia collection. The problem is I have no idea how much this would go for. I'm pretty sure I listed it for way too mcuh on Ebay and would liek to know what a reasonable price would be for it. I tried to do some searching but couldnt really find anything out there to compare for pricing.
If anyone can help out that would be much appreciated!

That's a tough one since you have no stars on it. The rest of the players were pretty much meh - no future HOFers and no single franchise feat like winning the WS or something like that. Is it a game used bat or simply a Jays bat? Game used with knowledge of the player is always a bonus (even if cracked - some collecters even like them more).

Otherwise, I just don't see much value in it. You may get lucky and find a Jays fan who feels he/she must have every item available but I wouldn't hold my breath. Good luck though.

I think he meant to say: "of note on the bat"........if thats the case, having Halladay and Delgado in it, sure helps.
      Yankees' payroll: $250 millions
      Marlins' payroll: $50 millions
      Marlins winning The Series: Priceless

If that's what was meant, then I agree. Halladay & Delgado certainly will help. The interesting one to me is Rios since he was in AA that year. That was his bust out season and baseball cards of his were popping up mid-season.

I'd probably value it around $300 to $400 tops. Your challenge is going to be finding a buyer. Are the autos authenticated?
          WAR? Prove it!

Yes sorry I did mean of Note..I was surprised Rios was on it as well. It is authenticated by MLB hologram and when I enter it into the site Rios is one of the players listed. Thanks for all your help guys!
