This is not meant to sound morbid; it's more out of curiosity. I've seen a few different shots throughout this thread, but all were far away or from an angle where nothing was really visible. Does anyone know if any close up shots of Babe were taken at his funeral/Yankee stadium visitation?

Babe On The Links Pt.3
Here we have The Babe and golf legend Lawson Little (World Golf HOF 1980). Lawson won the British and U.S. Amatuer tournaments in both 1934 and 1935. He turned pro in 1936 and won the U.S. Open in 1940. So this photo seems to date somewhere in the late 1930's (perhaps 1938, as Babe has a very similar outfit in Pt.1)Last edited by BSmile; 09-19-2011, 06:42 AM.

Babe On The Links Pt.4
"To Mary Reilly...Sincerely Babe Ruth" - c.1940

Babe poses with his golfing foursome. I'd assume that Mary Reilly is the wife of one of these gentlemen.

Babe Strikes A Pose - 1921
I'm guessing that most of the people who check in to this thread every day already know this, but here's some info for ya: whenever you see Babe in a pinstriped cap, it's from 1921. It's the only year the Yankees wore them during Babe's time there (N.Y.Yankees Uniforms 1920-34).

I've posted a large 1914 Baltimore Team pic with Babe in the past...but it was likely taken later that season.

Babe In Leather - November 1933
Babe arriving back to NYC from Honolulu, Hawaii with Claire and Julia. Everybody is looking pretty spiffy, especially Babe in that epic leather trenchcoat.
